Professional Project Management for Smooth Implementation

Implementing any new solution requires careful planning, and extensive preparation and professional supervision. At the outset project governance is agreed with each client to ensure alignment with the key stakeholders and reporting structures within their organisation. Clear communication throughout the project is one of our key goals, ensuring all relevant parties are updated and progress reports are generated at agreed milestones.

Project Overview

A Vardells Project Manager will be responsible for the project delivery of the solution. The Project Manager will work with the customers Project Team to ensure that the project is delivered as per the agreement. The project Manager has responsibility for the following:

Management and control of all project related aspects of the Vardells delivery

Overall matrix management of the Vardells Implementation Team assigned to the project

Communication during the project with the customers Project Manager

Control and management of all stages of the project as per the Project Plan

Closure and handover of project to Vardells Support

Risk and Issue Management

The Risks and Issues of a project are managed during the planning stage and throughout the project. The high-level project plan is discussed during the Kick-off Meeting with Vardells and customer. This project plan will ensure that the following is considered:

Dependencies

Project Constraints

Key Milestones

Risks and Issues

The project plan will be agreed between Vardells and the customer, to ensure that it can be achieved as per the target timescales.

Dependencies

There will be dependencies that are critical to the successful completion of the project. Any dependencies not achieved may impact the project delivery and the original commercial scope:

The customer must provide the required resources during the project.

We will always need a single point of contact to supply the required technical information.

Project Constraints

Any project constraints must be detailed at the initiation of the project. of the solution to ensure that these do not impact upon scope, timeline, delivery of the project. A risk or issue identified during a project has associated actions which we will try to manage and mitigate that risk resulting into an issue. The Risk register (Air Log) will have an owner who will ensure that these actions are followed through.
